3. Do I have to believe in it for it to work?

No, hypnotherapy is not a type of faith healing or dependent upon belief. It has a scientific basis and is used in many professional settings by doctors and dentists, often as a form of pain control for those who are allergic to or unable to undergo operations with anaesthesia.

4. Does it mean I am weak minded if I can go into hypnosis?

Not at all, hypnotherapy has nothing to do with control or power of another’s mind.

5. Will I say something that I would prefer to keep a secret whilst in hypnosis?

No. If the session requires you to talk whilst in a state of hypnosis you will be fully aware of what you are saying and always in control.
